Mobile Peer Awards 2009
For the first time Danish startups have the opportunity to participate in the influential Mobile Peer Awards held in Barcelona on February 16th 2009 - the first day of the Mobile World Congress.
The Mobile Peer Awards are amongst the most influential awards for startups within the industry. This is your chance to connect with investors, operators, media companies, press and influential bloggers who can help bring your company to the next level!
The Danish jury will consist of sponsors and organizers of MobileMonday Copenhagen (to be announced). On January the 19th 2009 the jury will nominate one Danish startup to participate in the international contest. The nomination will be based on the following three criteria:
* originality, creativity and innovativeness
* technical and operational feasibility
* economic and financial viability
An international jury of renowned industry experts, investors and entrepreneurs will select 20 finalists who will get the chance to present their product on stage in Barcelona on February 16th, 2009. Last year’s international jury included representatives from Telefónica, Vodafone, Google, Yahoo!, AdMob, MobHappy, GoMoNews, Nexit Ventures, and Xtract.
How to apply?
To apply, your first step is to go to http://www.mobilepeerawards.com/ and sign-up, indicating MobileMonday Copenhagen as your home chapter. Then submit info, a presentation and a video about your company/product. Deadline for submission is December 31st 2008.

Important:
Please note that participation in the contest is free. Travel expenses, lodging and conference fee in Barcelona is to be payed by the participant itself.
The contest is organized by MobileMonday Barcelona in collaboration with the entire international MobileMonday community.
